Abstract

This session will consider the relevance of oral/dental health to the collaborative management of selected medical conditions. Drawing on their experiences, medical and dental clinical leaders will explore what patient-centered care could look like if professionals collaborated across disciplines and levels of practice to integrate oral health with overall health, and how such approaches could improve outcomes for individuals, families, and communities.
